A/Prof David McCreary

MBChB MSc FRCEM FACEM
CESR Emergency Medicine — 2020
Emergency Physician & Director of Emergency Medicine Training, Alfred Health (Melbourne)
Adj. Clinical Associate Professor, Acute & Critical Care, Monash University

David is a consultant emergency physician based in Melbourne with significant academic and teaching responsibilities. He completed his initial training in the UK (ACCS-EM) before moving to Australia. Wanting to combine his diverse experience of training from the UK and across Australia, he pursued CESR in Emergency Medicine without any formal support and successfully obtained CESR in 2020 on his first attempt.

He subsequently achieved Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine through the Specialist International Medical Graduate pathway. David now supervises CESR trainees and is passionate about helping others navigate the process.
